Leadership
Pat Floyd – CEO / Engineering
With over thirty‐five years in the industry, Pat has worked his way from manufacturing custom wire and cable to the design engineering and assembly of intricate and complex wire and cable harnesses and box builds. His extensive and unique knowledge base in electro‐mechanical engineering drives Paragon’s exceptional design capabilities. Pat designed and implemented Paragon’s fully bar-coded, proprietary manufacturing control system (PIMS ERP), which provides real-time data for inventory tracking and production scheduling—keeping your project on time and on budget. In his free time, Pat builds museum-quality scale models and high-powered model rockets, launching at a Level 3 certification.
Chris Stevenson –
President
Chris has been with Paragon since April 2021. He brings over 40 years of manufacturing experience—working in organizations that built finished products and contract manufacturing operations. Over his career, Chris has held roles including Assembler, Welder, Machinist, Production Manager, Operations Manager, Quality Manager, and Director of Sales. This breadth of experience gives him deep visibility into each department’s needs. Chris is a lifelong learner who continues to expand his knowledge at Paragon, sharing best practices with teammates to create a successful, positive work environment.
Nathan Townsend – Sales Manager
As a newcomer to the electronics industry when he started at Paragon, Nathan immersed himself into the world of wire and cable harnesses over the past 8–9 years. Though newer to electronics, he’s no stranger to sales—leading sales teams for over 25 years. Nathan steadily works with customers and potential customers to supply quotes, information, and clarification by teaming with the engineering and production groups to ensure an open flow of communication back to the end user. Engineering
Our Engineering Team works alongside you and your team, understanding your objectives and assisting you in obtaining those goals in the most cost-effective manner. We can quote to your specification or return a quote with design optimization—building on your plans while delivering substantial material and labor savings. If you have design drawings in hand, we review them to uncover potential manufacturability issues early, before they cost you valuable time and money. If you need assistance with schematics, our resident Design Engineers will collaborate to create production-ready drawings. We also offer quick-turn prototyping, 3D modeling, and tolerance analysis to ensure every harness meets performance requirements.
Cable Harness Tooling & Overmolding
Our product foundation is high-mix, low-to-medium volume cable and wire harness assemblies. We provide in-house mold design for strain relief, custom boot styles, and rugged overmolds to meet UL 94 V-0 and IP rating requirements. Paragon’s advanced production techniques and tooling expertise result in cost savings and repeatable quality. Procurement
Utilizing a vast network of resources and solid vendor relationships, Paragon is your connection to a comprehensive supply base. We source wires, connectors, and components worldwide—maintaining DFARS- and ITAR-compliant materials for defense and aerospace applications. Our proprietary manufacturing control system gives us real-time visibility into inventory and supplier performance, so you get the highest level of reliability in every component we procure.
Supply Chain Management
Managing materials can be time-consuming and tedious. Our custom PIMS ERP-driven control system takes the guesswork out of information management, making inventory tracking and scheduling easy. Paragon implements just-in-time delivery, kitting, and Kanban programs to minimize inventory and prevent line stoppages. Through auto-replenishment and long-term scheduling, we help you maintain optimal stock levels so production flows without interruption
Quality Assurance
At Paragon, quality is paramount. We are ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 certified, and we undergo rigorous biannual audits to validate compliance with all industry standards. Our in-house IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC J-STD-001 certified trainers ensure every technician and inspector is trained to the highest standards. We perform 100% continuity, hipot, and environmental testing on every assembly—using state-of-the-art test equipment and purpose-built fixtures when needed. Strict SPC controls, UL 94 V-0–rated materials, RoHS and REACH compliance, and full lot traceability guarantee that each harness meets or exceeds customer and regulatory requirements.
Job Tracking
Paragon’s proprietary manufacturing control system provides real-time data and traceability from quote to shipment. Our web portal lets you monitor work-in-process dashboards, receive automated notifications about schedule or inventory changes, and track every lot and serial number digitally. With instant visibility into project status, you can keep your program on time and on budget.
